Gurgaon: Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, has announced the appointment of Preeti Bajaj as Executive Vice President to head its Home Solutions Division.
In this role, she will lead the strategic growth and innovation of Schneider Electric’s global home-focused portfolio.
As Executive Vice President, Preeti Bajaj will oversee Schneider Electric’s Home Solutions Division with a mandate to expand its global business across home energy management solutions, switches and sockets, and electric vehicle charging solutions.
Her role focuses on delivering intelligent, efficient, and secure technologies designed to make homes smarter and more sustainable.

As part of her expanded responsibilities, Luminous Power Technologies – previously led by Preeti Bajaj – will now operate under the Home Solutions portfolio.
Additionally, Preeti Bajaj has joined the board of Starcharge, a Schneider Electric–managed joint venture. She will be based in Gurgaon, India.

Commenting on her appointment, Preeti Bajaj, Executive Vice President, Home Solutions, Schneider Electric, said that she is honoured to take on the role at a time when electrification, decentralisation, and digitalisation are transforming residential energy ecosystems, with a focus on empowering homeowners through intelligent energy solutions.
Preeti Bajaj brings extensive global leadership experience and a strong track record in driving strategic transformation.
Prior to this role, she served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Luminous Power Technologies (P) Ltd., a Schneider Electric-owned company and a leading player in power backup and residential solar solutions in India.

Earlier in her career, Preeti Bajaj was the Chief Executive Officer of Clipsal Solar – now Clipsal Cortex, a Schneider Electric Ventures company – where she led global teams in developing advanced hardware and software solutions for renewable energy.
She has also held the position of Vice President, Strategy and Commercial Operations Transformation at Schneider Electric.
Preeti Bajaj holds a master’s degree in applied finance from Macquarie University, an MBA in finance from Swinburne University of Technology, and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from Delhi University.
She has further completed executive education programmes at Harvard Business School and the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. In July 2025, she was named to Fortune’s list of the Most Powerful Women in India.
